  Standard transient airport hotel with mix of all sorts of people. Internal facing rooms in this building have a rubbish view but then so does most of the other rooms. They can be quite small too. Some of the technology in the space is from the dark ages and the TV in my room was drunk.
  
  Breakfast was ok, staff nice enough. Nothing better than you'd expect. It was average.

  One of the convenient hotels around Heathrow is the Holiday Inn Ariel, it is only about 10 minutes away from the airport by bus, and remember it is free to ride on the London buses within the airport perimeter. From Holiday Inn you can use buses: 105, 111, 140, 285 and N9 and there is normally less than a 10 minute wait and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The hotel has a nice lobby and restaurant at the ground floor together with a bar. The menu has a good selection and prices are reasonable and the breakfast is good. The rooms are quite small and the decor is a little dated as are the bathrooms however for a airport layover they are perfectly adequate and the rates are often reasonable. If you are in the executive rooms you get complimentary chocolate and water. All in all a decent airport budget hotel.

  Clean and spacious room. Bar food is of good quality. At the last stop in the free bus zone so location is okay about 15 min bus ride to terminal. Nice stay near the airport.
